According to GSP Post Commander Shawn Urquhart, the driver of a gold Toyota was headed southbound, veered into the northbound lane and struck a Ford pickup truck. A Ford Explorer was following behind the truck and was also clipped by the Toyota.
"The ground is wet this time of morning and once the impact occurred and the angle of the ditch, vehicle #2 (Ford pick up) slid onto the side an turned around."
The pickup is now totaled and the Toyota suffered major damage in the rear passenger side. Both drivers in the pickup and Ford Explorer along with their passengers are okay. The extent of the Toyota driver's injuries are unknown.
