DAWSON, GA (WALB) - Dawson Mayor Chris Wright says he has received threatening phone calls almost one year after he was shot inside his home.

He said the threats have caused him some concern. Officials said Mayor Wright received four threatening calls over the past month.

Police said they were working to trace the latest call.

The Mayor also found his city car with the driver's side window broken out.

Police did not immediately confirm if the broken window was related to the threats.

Meanwhile, officials said they do plan to have more security for the Mayor.
