Crisp Co. comes together to remember homicide victims

CRISP CO., GA (WALB) -

Family and friends gathered at the Community Clubhouse on the corner of 7th St and 16th Avenue in Crisp County to remember two homicide victims, 27-year-old Ashley Garry and Jasperin Armstrong.

Folks also took time to remember 35-year old Deon Ray who was punched in the face and died after his head hit the concrete.

Crisp County law enforcers were also there to show their support.

“This was an opportunity for us to come together and know that there is power in pray and as people of faith we believe that God is able to answer pray,” says Issac Owens, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.

"Its gonna create some energy among me and hopefully some of the officers now that we are tired and maybe this will pick us up and pep us up a little bit to keep digging in our cases and hopefully we can come to solve these things shortly," says Sheriff Billy Hancock, Crisp County.

So far no arrests have been made on the cases.
