ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Hundreds of cyclists were in Albany on Saturday for the Pecan City Pedalers 11th Annual Nut Roll.
More than 250 cyclists traveled routes of 30, 46, 62, and 102 miles starting and ending at Chehaw Park. One cyclist from Macon says the 30 mile route was tiring.
"There's a little bit of an uphill but it's mostly flat, so it's ok," said Myra Gabriel, Cyclist. "We were able to make it."
Gabriel says she's only been cycling for 2 months. She says she'll be back to compete next year.
