VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
The man shot multiple times in Valdosta remains in critical but stable condition as of 5 p.m. Thursday, as the suspected shooter is now facing multiple charges.
35 year-old Amos Haynes appeared in Lowndes County magistrate court Thursday afternoon and was formally charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Haynes is accused of shooting 38 year-old Xavier Jones around 12:30 Wednesday as Jones was doing some repair work for Haynes on a home on Ray Lane. Police believe Haynes was arguing with Jones about payment for the work prior to the shooting.
