Crisp Co. authorities to speak on homicide case

CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Authorities in Crisp County are expected to release more information in their investigation into a Cordele woman who was shot to death.

The news conference is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday.

The update comes one day after the Crisp County Sheriff's Office announced a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Ashley Garry, 27, was shot and found dead around 5 p.m. Sunday during a welfare check at her home.
