CORDELE, GA (WALB) - The Crisp County Sheriff's office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting death of a Cordele woman.
Ashley Garry, 27, was shot and found dead around 5 p.m. Sunday during a welfare check at her home.
Sheriff's deputies and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said they have spent approximately 370 hours on the case as of Wednesday morning. Reports from a crime lab were expected Wednesday afternoon.
In a release, Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock said their Emergency Operation Center has been turned into a command post for agents and deputies to discuss clues.
