ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Lots of folks came out to the Civic Center to see the play " A Mother's Love" featuring reality star Kandi Burruss from the show Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Todd Terry, who plays Kandi's dad in the play, says the play is about a father who has been out of the picture and comes back at a time when the family is going through some challenges.
Terry says they've enjoyed performing for a lively audience.
"I wasn't expecting that the audience was going to be so lively and so much fun but they are getting it and the jokes and the punch lines and the audience is great," says Todd Terry, who plays Kandi's dad.
He says the plays demonstrates how great a mother's love can be during tough times.
