CORDELE, GA (WALB) - A mud run is coming to south Georgia this weekend.
Impact Sports Fitness is hosting the first Mud and Blood run behind Crisp County High School Saturday morning.
Participants will run through mud pits and have to walk across cables.
Proceeds will go to the Flint River Chapter of the American Red Cross. Organizers say community support has been outstanding.
"Without the community involvement, the support, this, like I said we've wanted to do this in the past we just haven't had the property or the people coming together like this and the community has just supported us," said Teresa Ward of Impact Sports and Fitness.
