ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Kevin Fretwell, who was involved in the Westover grade changing scandal, has had his teaching certificate revoked, according to Georgia's Professional Standards Commissions website.
The Professional Standards Commission says Kevin Fretwell violated the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act by giving a copy of a fellow teacher's grading records to a reporter.
Fretwell can't apply for a new certificate in Georgia for three years. He resigned at the end of last school year.
Westover Principal William Chunn changed grades for more than 120 freshman last year.
He, an assistant principal, and another teacher were disciplined.
