Greenville PD: Yellow-eyed suspect sought after post office purse snatching

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police are searching for a suspect after a purse snatching at the post office on West Washington Street on Wednesday.

Police said the victim was inside the post office when the suspect grabbed her purse and fled. They said the victim chased the suspect for a short time before losing him.

The suspect is described as approximately 6' tall, between 48 and 50 years old and 150 pounds with a short "afro" style haircut. Police said he was wearing a white dingy T-shirt and blue jeans.

Deputies said the most unique part of the suspect's description was that the whites of his eyes were yellow.
