The game involves earning golden tickets by rolling the food dice and landing on game spaces with trivia and fitness prompts; answering health and fitness questions from the 400 pop quiz cards and performing exercise challenges such as push-ups, crunches, jumping jacks, frog jumps, stretches, and more. The game incorporates 17 funny fantasy characters that the children of today can relate to. "Using the game characters as role models is what brings the fantasy and inspiration alive in the child's mind, " says Liz Northcutt. "It is also a great family fitness game. I have had so many parents and children thank me for creating such a positive toy."
With childhood obesity being a nationwide epidemic, the LunchBox Kids board game tackles the problem by making fitness fun and gives the children a platform and tool to learn on their own.
