Police: Husband hospitalized after wife stabs him

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dougherty County Police are looking for a woman who they say stabbed her husband Tuesday afternoon.

According to investigators, Wanda Harris stabbed her husband around 1 p.m. at a screen print shop behind R&S Sports on Gillionville Road. She is wanted for aggravated assault.

Her husband, identified as Grenardo Price, was taken to the hospital by a customer at the store. He was treated and released.

A report said Price was stabbed twice in his left side after he and his wife had a verbal altercation.

"They got into a verbal altercation this morning, and she stabbed him with a steak knife. Shortly thereafter as she was leaving the scene, a customer walked up, saw that he had been stabbed and transported him to the hospital," said DCP Lt. Chad Kirkpatrick.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 229-430-6600.
