A man charged in a drive-by shooting that killed a man and his nephew has pleaded guilty.
Derek Rushing pleaded guilty to two counts of voluntary manslaughter.
According to Assistant District Attorney Brian McDaniel, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the first count, and will be sentenced on the second count after trial, which is expected to begin in November.
Rushing also agreed to testify against Antonio Williams, a second defendant, in the trial.
Williams was also charged with two counts of voluntary manslaughter.
Rushing and Williams were charged in connection to a drive-by shooting that killed James Key and his nephew Eric Debruce in March 2013.
