Cole Taylor concert benefits Shellman VFD

SHELLMAN, GA (WALB) - Dozens of folks gathered in Shellman for a concert benefiting the Shellman Volunteer Fire Department.

Cole Taylor was the headliner, with special guest Farren Rachels.

Taylor says right now he's concentrating mainly on song writing.

"Now its taken me on a big adventure where I get to go out and play my songs for several crowds that I'm really blessed to be in front of," says songwriter Cole Taylor.

Taylor is from Cuthbert and started singing in church and at festivals.

    Dougherty County Commissioners have dismissed their lawsuit against the Georgia Department of Community Health.  A notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudge was filed Monday by the Dougherty County Commissioners in Fulton County court, canceling the lawsuit.
