GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Hundreds of dog lovers came out to show their support for the Greenville Humane Society during the largest dog-friendly race in South Carolina on Saturday.

FOX Carolina was a co-sponsor of the 3rd Annual Mutt Strut in Greenville.

Participants competed in a 2-mile race/walk and were invited to bring their dogs along on the course through Greenville Technical College and the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

The event also featured pet supply vendors, games, prizes, awards and live music.

Organizers said 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Greenville Humane Society, which is the largest no-kill facility in the state.
