BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

Bainbridge Public Safety has taken out a warrant in connection to a fire that at a home on Martin Luther King Drive and injured a Captain who was fighting the flames.

Brandi Gaddis, 29, is wanted in connection with the fire, that happened on Saturday, August 16th.

Officials said Gaddis is from Lithia Springs, and is believed to have left the City of Bainbridge. They say she could have gone to north Georgia or Florida.

Gaddis is described as a black female, and investigators believe she is driving a burgundy Ford Focus with North Carolina license plates.

Anyone with information is urged to call Bainbridge Public Safety at 229-515-0091.

After crews were called to put out the fire, the roof of the porch collapsed and fell on Captain Shannon Dunaway, who was seriously injured in the crash.

Captain Dunaway has been in the hospital since Saturday.
