Arsonists attack Albany home for the third time this week

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Fire investigators say an arsonist attacked a South Albany home Wednesday morning for the third time this week.

Tonight they're asking for your help to stop what they call a "dangerous attacker."

Firefighters saw flames shooting from this duplex in the 600 block of West Gordon when they responded around 6 a-m.

Arthur Denson came home to find his bedroom in flames.

Investigators say someone broke a window and set a bed on fire.

Monday someone threw a molotov cocktail into the kitchen

Albany Fire Department Investigator Sam Harris said "We're hoping someone within the public can assist us, and give us some information so we can try to stop this person from hurting someone. "

Wednesday's fire made the house uninhabitable.

If you have any information about the arsons, call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS or the Albany Fire Department.
