Charleston County authorities say a 26-year-old fugitive surrendered after he learned about a television spot featuring his wanted status.
Carlos Antonio Robinson was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender third offense.
According to officials at the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, Robinson learned he was featured on a Live 5 Most Wanted segment, then turned himself in.
Robinson is on the sex offender registry for attempting or committing a lewd act on a child.
Robinson was released from the Dorchester County Jail in June and failed to register as a sex offender in Charleston County.
Deputies say he told them he was moving to Charleston County when he got out of jail.
