Deputies seek suspect in armed robbery at Lulu's Car Wash

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Richmond County Deputies are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at Lulu's Car Wash on Peach Orchard Road, Sunday around 9 p.m.

"I was like what is going on…I didn't know at first…I just didn't know," said victim Jerry Harvey

16-year-old Jerry Harvey was working at lulu's car wash, when a guest entered pointing a gun. Wanting more than his car washed.

Harvey says that the suspect "was like give me the money so I immediately gave him the money and didn't try to talk to him at all and I just gave him the money."

Harvey says the man got away with an undisclosed amount of money. When the suspect left  he immediately called the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

But the man is still on the streets and Harvey says he hasn't gone back to work and he's not sure he will-but he still hopes deputies find whoever did this.

"He can be caught if the right thing is done…but as far as that…I don't know what I can say about that," says Harvey

If you have any information on this crime… call the Richmond county sheriff's office at 706-821-1020.
