VSU's annual Blazer Bash on the way

 Valdosta State University will hold its annual one mile Blazer Dash Saturday, Aug. 23.

The race is hosted by VSU’s Campus Recreation and Campus Wellness. The Blazer Dash includes a 5K run and walk as well as a one-mile youth walk and run.

Registration is $20 and same day registration is $25. The group rate is $15 and requires pre-registration of 10 or more participants. Ghost runners can register at $15. One mile youth splash walk/run Registration is $10.

Race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m.. The race will start and end in front of the recreation center on Sustella Road at 7:30 a.m.

There are four divisions that include 13 to 17, 18 to 29, 30 to 50 and 51 and up.
