"Monster Mayhem" returns to Nashville

NASHVILLE, GA (WALB) - Monster trucks are getting ready to fire up their engines in Nashville for the 2nd annual "Monster Mayhem" event.

The show starts Friday night at 8 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Saturday night. The show is expected to last between and hour and a half and two hours each night. It is being held at the Berrien County Saddle Club Arena, located behind the Nashville Police Department.

Gates open at 6 p.m. each night. A "pit party" will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each night for fans who want to see the trucks up close an personal. Pit pass tickets are $20, and the "pit party" is limited to 100 people per night.

General admission tickets are $10 for everyone 11 years old and up and $5 for children 6 to 10 years old. Organizers said around 1,000 people turned out each night for the 2013 event, but with this year's weather being much better than last year's they're expecting nearly twice as many people each night.

The event will also feature a freestyle motocross show from United FMX.
