MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Moultrie Police are asking residents to call 911 if they see any suspicious activity.

Despite several arrests, investigators say they are still receiving a large number of entering autos calls.

Some of the recent break-ins were witnessed by neighbors who police say were for some reason reluctant to call them.

Police ask residents who see any activity they think is out of the ordinary to call and let them investigate.

"We much rather you call us," said Steven Colgan with Moultrie Police. "Let us come out, find out what is going on, rather than wake up the next day and find out three of your neighbors vehicles have been broken into."

Police say most of the car break-ins are happening overnight and early morning.

Anyone who wants to report any suspicious activity can call 229-985-3131.
