Dawson PD wants help finding attackers

DAWSON, GA (WALB) - Dawson police are asking for your help to find three men in connection with a beating.

About 7:00 Monday night, Cullen Ward was attacked while walking through an alley off Pecan Street. It's near where an elderly man was attacked and robbed in his yard recently.

Ward told police the attackers approached him with T shirts pulled over their heads with eye holes cut out.

They threw Ward to the ground and punched and kicked him. They left without taking anything.

"We are asking the community to come forward if they saw or heard something. We don't want this incident to happen again we want to solve this one," said Inv. Gene Shattles of the Dawson Police Dept.

If you have any information you are asked to call Dawson Police at 229-995-4414.

You can remain anonymous.
