NICHOLLS, GA (WALB) -

A nurse at a Coffee County assisted living facility is now charged with concealing a death after a body was discovered buried behind the center.

Defense Attorney Jill Starling says Diana Jacobs was charged by the Coffee County Sheriff's Office. Jacobs is a nurse at the Rosewood Manor in Nicholls. She was taken into custody Friday evening after Sheriff's investigators got a tip about an unreported death at the facility. They say Jacobs admitted a body was buried in a shed. Starling says her client is innocent.

"She is right now sitting there, completely cloaked in innocence,” said Jill Starling, Jacob’s Defense Attorney. “They have no evidence."

Jacobs is scheduled to make a first appearance before a Judge Monday morning at the Coffee County Law Enforcement Center. Detectives say an autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine the identity of the body and cause of death.
