VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A generous donation helps South Georgia students.

Georgia Power Foundation donated $5000 to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation South to support students and programs at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.

Georgia Power’s Kevin McCraney said, “The Georgia Power Foundation is proud to support the programs provided by Wiregrass Georgia Technical College to all the students in South Georgia. Their curriculum crosses traditional boundaries to collaborate with all of the educational institutions in our area and ensure we have a qualified workforce.”
