SMITHVILLE, GA (WALB) - Smithville Baptist Church is asking for your help to repair their parsonage.

Pastor Fendley and his family moved out of the home when the air conditioner broke.

It turns out, that wasn't the only problem in the home.

"We went in to fix the AC and realized there were other problems that were underlying in the house that were pretty much dangerous and they didn't need to be in the home until we fixed their problems," said a Smithville Baptist Church member.

They have already raised more than two thousand dollars, but their goal is twenty thousand.
