OCILLA, GA (WALB) -

An Ocilla pastor is behind bars accused of firing several shots outside an Ocilla restaurant and making sexual remarks to a teenager.

The owner of Curry's Wings and Things, and father of that 15 year old girl, says he will not tolerate any type of disrespect towards his family or his business.

Shots were fired outside the Ocilla Quick Stop around lunch time on Wednesday after the owner of Curry's Wings and Things in the store says 53-year-old Anthony Eugene Cole came inside and began making sexual remarks towards his wife and 15-year-old daughter, Quay.

"He said he would mess with my daughter, my daughter is 15,” said V. Oliver II, Owner

That's when Curry says he lost his cool.

"I snapped, and I told him to leave out and when I went around the corner he said he better leave out of here before he went to get his gun,” said Curry.

Curry says the two exchanged words in the parking lot before Cole went to his truck to get this HR 32 Long Revolver. Curry's wife says she was standing near the front door when Cole pointed the gun at her and threatened her before firing at least four shots into the air.

"I didn't hear it at first, I just saw him with gun, but I looked out the door and everybody was ducking,” said Curry.

An employee at Varney's Hardware store across the street saw Cole shooting and called 911. Ocilla Police say Cole led them on a short chase along 4th Street ending at a dirt road off Lincoln Street where he was taken into custody. Curry's business has only been open for five weeks and he wants to let customers know that it is a safe place to come and enjoy hot wings and fries.

"I don't want nobody to get it twisted, my business is clean,” said Curry. “We haven't had this type of problem, we got great food."

No one was injured in the shooting. Cole remains in the Irwin County Jail. He is charged with aggravated assault, firing a firearm on public property and reckless conduct. Investigators say he is a pastor but they aren't sure at what church.
