WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -
Worth County has a new 911 director.
Marci Errair has been interim director for about 10-months after working as a dispatcher there since 2009.
She says she's excited to take over full time and hopes to update the center's software soon.
“If our agencies upgrade and we don't then we will be behind so we want to be inline and we want to be in line with other agencies too so if they upgrade and we stay behind then when they go to call its not gonna be the same,” says Marci Errair, Worth County 911 Director.
So far this year, the center has answered about 25,000 calls.
