WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - A fatal Worth County crash takes the life of a 17-year-old from Ty Ty Saturday evening. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor, according to Georgia State Patrol.

Troopers say 17-year-old Jacob Alex Saxton was driving  his Ford Explorer down a hill on West Brown Cemetery Road around 5:30 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle. It started going off to the left side of the road and overturned and struck a tree. He was believed to be going approximately 70 mph.

Saxton was ejected from the vehicle and killed.

Two others were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Twenty-one year old Cameron Conger of Sumer was taken to Worth County jail. He was arrested at the scene for a separate incident. He is charged with disorderly conduct.

Eighteen year old Lyle Mathis of Sylvester has been charged with consumption of alcohol and possession of alcohol by a minor.
