BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Police are investigating a shooting, home invasion. Police were called out around 6:20 p.m. Saturday to 7820 6th Avenue South. A woman told police a man came to the home asking if a truck under the car port was for sale. The woman told the man no.
Police say the man came back asking for water and forced his way into the home. The woman gave him her debit car and took a gun out of her purse shooting the man in the hand. Police are still searching for the suspect.

Albany Police have responded to a robbery by snatching at the National Package Store on Oakridge Drive. Dispatch has confirmed the call came in just before 8 p.m. Saturday, and the suspect fled the scene.More >>
