Sheriff's Boys Ranch "healing" after children arrested for sexual molestation
LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) -
The Sheriff's Boys Ranch in Lowndes County continues to work to get back to normal after four kids who were living there now face sexual molestation charges.
17 year-old Jesus Gomez and three other juveniles from the boys ranch were arrested July 25th after an investigation by the GBI and the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office. The child care director at the boy's ranch says these allegations have affected everyone there.
"It affects all of us," said Beth Tillman. "So yes, this entire family has been affected. So, what we do now is help our family to heal, take the steps we need to do to help that."
The two reported victims have since been removed from the boys ranch and taken to other locations.
