Heat Advisory Issued for South Georgia

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

 The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a heat advisory for south Georgia on Sunday.

The NWS office says the temperature in the WALB viewing area will feel like 105-110 degrees.

The NWS is reminding everyone to keep hydrated but avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine when the temperatures are this hot.

Also, everyone is reminded to not leave children or pets inside cars.

The NWS Tallahassee office is also forecasting the chance of some strong to severe thunderstorms for Monday.

WALB News 10's Ryan Beesley will have the latest forecast on Sunday at 6:00 and 11:00.
