Lanes at the Albany Bowl-A-Rama were full Friday for a special tournament.
The Recreation and Parks Department hosted the fourth Albany Strikers' Classic Tournament.
The invitation only tournament brought in more than 120 Special Olympians from all over Georgia.
Organizers and athletes said bowling is a great sport.
"I look forward to this event every year because Special Olympics is near and dear to my heart, and it's so much fun to be able to provide this great recreational opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities," said Kristin Caso with Recreation and Parks.
"I bowl Tuesday nights. It's relaxing. It's like my home, like my second home," said bowler Eery Bently.
Friday's tournament was a warm up for The Special Olympics Georgia Master's tournament in Warner Robins.
