A Moultrie teen is out of the hospital now after being treated for a bullet wound to his forearm.

Witnesses told Moultrie police shots were fired after more than a dozen people were involved in a fight just before midnight in the 400 block of third avenue northwest. 18-year-old Dontavious Jackson showed up at Colquitt Regional Medical center where he told police he was shot after the fight on fifth street Northwest.

"The officers get to the hospital, that's when the victim, Mr. Jackson, states that while he was walking down the street he noticed two vehicles passing by speeding shooting at each other and he wound up getting shot,” said Alfred Anderson with the Moultrie Police Department.

Moultrie police say the fight and the shooting both remain under investigation. No one has been arrested.
