Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is the only suitable description for the arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones.

(RNN) - If you're not a fan of hearing a loud, hearty Rollllll Tide! then this isn't the podcast for you - though we must issue a disclaimer that in nearly each of the 50 times the phrase is used it is done so in a mocking manner.

Don't worry, it's for a good cause. Kind of.

Speaking of good causes, we get neck-deep in the topic of compensating college athletes. There were spikes in blood pressure levels and speaking volume, the litmus test for any type of dialogue on this issue.

If you're an angry Alabama fan or you're a college swimmer who is miffed at the suggestion that your (potential) paycheck should be less than a football player's, holler at us: @GJones_RNN and @BNT_RNN.
