Albany Police confirm a crash has happened near construction on the Liberty Expressway near Jefferson Street.
Officials said seven cars were involved in the crash that happened in the westbound lanes.
Dispatchers said emergency vehicles and and ambulance were dispatched to the scene, but no serious injuries were reported.
Tow trucks were still at the scene working to clear wrecked cars around 2 p.m. Friday.
The crash was later cleaned up and regular traffic resumed.
