A south Georgia youth baseball team is going to the world series.
The Albany National ALL Stars spent Thursday afternoon getting ready for the Dizzy Dean World series.
The 5 and 6 year-olds leave Friday for Southhaven, Mississippi. The team raised money for new uniforms and travel expenses.
"They're all excited, parents excited, the coaches excited and of course the players are excited. They're getting the opportunity to play on a national level, get exposure and play against 22 teams other than ourselves," said Courtney Love, the head coach.
The All Stars have already won six tournaments. The Dizzy Dean series will be July 25th through 31st. Their first game is Saturday at 9 am.
