The Flint RiverQuarium has more funds for feeding its animals thanks to the efforts of one 9-year-old girl.

Hannah Breyer from Warner Robbins visited and decided she wanted to help support it. She raised money by selling bracelets on Facebook. On Wednesday, she turned in a check over a donation over $200. She says she did it because she enjoyed her visit.

"Because I love animals and turtles," Breyer said. "It's cool and I've never been to a place like this."

RiverQuarium Chief Operating Officer Tommy Gregors commented her efforts.

"It just shows that people of all ages can get active and involved with environmental issues and just supporting our attractions and the venues that we have in our community," Gregors said.

The family was taken on an exclusive tour Wednesday as well.
