TU welcomes "seasoned" students in to audit courses
THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -
Folks 65 and older can now audit classes free of charge at Thomas University.
The university recently decided to lower the age from 70 to give more seniors a chance to take part in the learning process.
“The diversity of ages makes such a difference in the life experiences that people bring to the discussions and it's great for our traditional students, as well as our non-traditional age students, and auditing seniors, makes things that much more interesting,” said executive vice president Ann Landis.
Auditing a course allows you to take the class without receiving a grade or credit for the course.
