East Dougherty County mobile home fire ruled arson

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -     Investigators say a fire that burned a vacant East Dougherty County mobile home was intentionally set.

Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Holton Lane about 9:20 last night.

The mobile home was being demolished.

Even though it had no value, arson investigators say the fire posed a danger.  And they are trying to find out who set it.

Fire Investigator Sam Harris said " Everyone should be concerned about intentional fires that are set in their neighborhoods.  That's why we ask the community's help in solving these cases."

If you have any information about this arson on Holton Lane, call the Albany Fire Department at 431-3266,  or crime stoppers at 436-tips.
