WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - A couple weeks after a concerned citizen tipped off illegal gambling in Worth County, another tip led to a large seizure of marijuana.

A call about potential marijuana plants led deputies to a home at 351 Bundrick Moore Road. They found and confiscated 14 pots of marijuana believed to be between 100 and 150 plants.

Fifty-seven year old Reginal Lee Moore was arrested and charged with manufacturing of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute. He denies using or selling the drugs.

“We found evidence of a distribution most likely in process. We found baggies, scales, and processed, dried marijuana--most likely one to two pounds,” said Worth County Chief Deputy Bobby Sapp.

Moore is still in the Worth County jail.
