Air conditioner used by thief in break in

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Caught on camera, a crook who broke into County Line Foods in the 100 block of Philema Road.

You can see him shining his flashlight after breaking through the air conditioning duct work in the back of the store about 1:50 Monday morning.

He crawled on the floor trying to not set off the motion sensor alarm system.

When he got near the cash register, the alarm did sound, and the crook jumped up and went into the cash register.

He grabbed an empty cash bag and ran.

He used a display to hoist himself back into the air conditioning vent and escape.

Store owners improved security on that air conditioning system.

If you have any information about the thief, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
