Texas woman identified in Ashburn wreck

The Turner County Deputy Coroner, Jim Lumpkin, has confirmed the identity of a Texas woman killed in an Ashburn wreck Saturday morning.

60-year-old Seng Soonthala from Conroe, Texas died Saturday morning when a white Chevrolet van carrying two other women from Florida around 7:45 on I-75 North near exit 86 overturned. Georgia State Patrol says the left rear tire on the van blew out causing the van to leave the east side of the roadway and overturn. Soonthala was ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. The front passenger was taken by ambulance to Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele. Georgia State Patrol says both women are in fair condition.
