Over 30 students attended a forum held at Darton College today focused on earning admittance to medical school.

Students were able to speak with admissions officials from all five medical schools in Georgia. The forum gives those students a leg up in the admissions process.

"If you e-mail someone or make a phone call its not as deep of a connection if you are able to talk to them in person," said Special Projects Coordinator Carrie Oliver. "So they are able to get the information first hand from the people who make admissions decisions."

This is the 11th straight year Darton has hosted the event.
