DCSS to spend $13M on tablets


After discussing the one to one initiative for an hour, school board members unanimously approved the plan.  

Dr. Ufot Inyang, the assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, and Ken Dyer, the director of finance, presented the one to one device initiative to board members today. 

The $13.7 million plan would include laptops for teachers and 16,000 tablets for students.
