Deputies catch wanted man after hours of search

LEE CO., GA (WALB) -  Deputies say they have captured a man wanted for burglary and other charges after hours of searching Wednesday.

54-year-old Stanley Hailstock was wanted for two counts of burglary, and two counts of probation violation in Dougherty County.

Officials said he was captured in a pecan orchard where deputies were searching for him. He was then taken to the Lee County Jail.

In a statement, Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals said he wanted to thank the Georgia State Patrol, Valdosta State Prison K-9 units and the Lee State Prison K-9 units.
