THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Thomasville business is dealing with thousands of dollars worth of damage crooks caused-- for no apparent reason. They stole two vehicles and totaled one. The second truck was found behind a church Tuesday night. It was not destroyed like the first one, but it had significant damage.

Larry Williams got a rough wake up call a little after 3:00 a.m. Monday. "We try to do the right thing, then you wake up and you come in to something like this," said Larry Williams. Thieves targeted his business, Thomasville Pools and Spa.

"Someone had stolen two of our trucks, and broken down the gate, and proceeded into a high speed chase," said Williams. A chase that ended with a two-month old company truck totaled, and the driver transported to the hospital.

Police also found a stolen vehicle that did not belong to the business parked behind some nearby structures. Investigators believe the thieves abandoned it when taking the trucks.

When the crooks finished doing their dirty work instead of climbing back over the gate they instead used the stolen trucks to drive through. "Look at my gateposts; they're like, torn down," said Williams

Police noticed the crime while on patrol. Williams finds peace in knowing that not only are Thomasville police there when you call, they're also always on the lookout. "They were very helpful last night, they'll find him, they'll find him."

Police have arrested two men in connection with the crime. Jamahree Walden turned himself in Tuesday night. The owner hopes that a lesson comes out of the crime.

"Hopefully the people that did it will learn a lesson that would be the best thing, no need to be angry."

Tyrik Jackson was released from the hospital and is charged with three counts of theft by taking a motor vehicle, entering auto damage to property and theft by taking firearm.
