ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man says he's upset that a state representative candidate's campaign sign is in his front yard.

Marvin Banister found State Representative Carol Fullerton's signs on his property, on Old Dawson Road, Monday morning. Banister is a Darrel Ealum supporter. He says her signs are also on the properties of other non-supporters without their permission and public property. He says code enforcement isn't doing their job.

"It's not just on the Old Dawson road that this is occurring,” said Marvin Banister, Darrel Ealum supporter. “It's occurring all over Albany and Code Enforcement needs to stop it."

"Everybody can make a mistake, I know that there are a number of our supporters that are on his street, and so perhaps it got put there by mistake, I just don't know,” said Rep. Carol Fullerton.

Fullerton says a lot her signs have also been pulled up and replaced by Darrel Ealum signs. Fullerton says she believes Code Enforcement is doing their job.
