Investigators seek answers in Thomasville business burglaries
THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -
Police are searching for the person responsible for stealing a 150-pound cylinder of anhydrous ammonia from a Thomasville business.
The cylinder of the chemical was last seen by the manager of the facility on Friday.
Investigators believe that someone placed the cylinder on a hand truck and pulled the item through a secluded wooded area.
This isn't the first time that the business has been burglarized within the last few months.
“There have been several instances in the past that ammonia has been stolen, recently we had an incident where some ice was stolen, this is the third incident that we've had, at Prestige Ice,” said Lt. Hampton.
No arrests have been made in any of the burglary investigations, if you have any information call Thomasville police.
